Best shots of the week #3
Here are the best of my Instagram pics from this week.
Check them out, and let me know what you think!
The biggest spider I’ve ever seen… and I think the bug population around my job is gonna take a serious hit!!
Just a corridor I see every day. That day I could finally see how interesting it was.
The trains was not one, not two, but THREE minutes late!
Very shiny, very sparkly, very green and quiet atrium.
Very busy buildings in Yokohama
Once upon a time in Yokohama…
Shadow of Iphone on tile…I thought it was interesting anyway. Especially with this filter.
Cool guy!
Cute girl with an ad from something or other with other cute girls
A couple in a cafe in Yokohama.
Well, that’s about it for this week. Cast your vote in the poll below!
(BTW the winner of last week’s poll was Lonely Station Last Train)

I like the corridor. There's something very grungy and city and cool about it. Also the contrast from the yellow cab really makes the picture.
Yeah, I dig that one myself! (-;
I let a resident spider grow to huge proportions every year so it can eat the big cockroaches. If I forget something after I turned out the light…it will stand it's ground with 2 arms up like…"Come on white boy!!" "You wanna fucking dance??"
Nope…just grabbin somethin…just on my way…please gorge yourself on big cockroaches mr badass spider and don't accidentally get killed doin something dumb…I need you!
Sounds like The Bad Boy might want to give fiction a shot.Sounds like you've got the aptitude and imagination. Your story almost sounds like the beginnings (or ending) of a ghetto parable! lol Thanks for the shout Yo!
Awesome pics as always. It's nice because although I think I catch all of them on Instagram, this summary proves me wrong.
I especially liked the "not usually special" corridor and the kids outside of Yoshinoya. I love catching glimpses into other peoples' daily lives like that.
Although I've been meaning to ask – how do you take pics on the train etc without…well… being completely obvious? The camera click sound still goes off when you have it set to silent, right? o.O;
Thanks Love! Hmmm…Taking pics of strangers on the train is something I'm only now getting a little more comfortable with. They may or may not hear the click…they probably due but I shift the camera's aim so quickly after I take it they may not have known they were the target. Kinda the way people are always turning away whenever I look around on the train. I kinda use that behavior to embolden me to do the same only I do it with a camera. Hey, it's for "art" so I try and cut myself some slack. There are some apps I've heard that silence that click but none of them hae worked thus far for me. Saboten Girl (the one who inspired me to shoot subjects on trains) says she sticks headphones in her ears and that usually throws people. I haven't tried that yet but I might. Thanks for the shout!
voted for the spider!!!
Thanks Anna!
I cannot vote for the spider! I really don't like spiders.
I like Spider Man, and they eat other insects, so spiders are about the only bugs I can tolerate
Gotta love the corridor shot.
And awesome shadow too.
Thanks Lina!
That spider is freaky as hell!
Is that the Ooimachi-sen being all 3 minutes late?!?!?!
And I really love the shot of the 3 kids. I wish I could take photos of random people, but my normal Japanese non-smart phone has that terrible 'HEY I'M TAKIN YOUR PICTURE' sound. Someday I will get an android.
Yeah the Spider freaked me out to but I had to keep telling myself, Moring Spiders=good luck morning spiders = good luck. Actually it was Toyoko line th
at was late )-; Mine has that I'm a Chikan click too lol I'm just not caring as much as i used to lol thanks for the shout
