Hanami: Celebration of the Cycling and Recycling of Life

Spring is a time of  renewal, rebirth and re-invigoration.  The blossoming of Cherry Blossoms symbolizes this in a most awesome spectacle. All winter you see these trees looking eerily derelict, for in your mind you know what they’re capable of in their fullest glory; how they will look come late March, early April. I’ve never really appreciated spring as much as I do now. Here in Japan, I join with my Japanese brethren in celebration of the cycling and recycling of life!

Here are some pics of how I spent this year’s celebration:

Keep spring in your heart…

Best Regards,

Loco

Spring is the perfect time for a fresh new start and there is nothing better in Japan than to celebrate spring with a hanami party with great food and drink under the cherry blossoms :)

Awesome pictures! I want to say I wish I could check this out in person but I think my allergies would probably keep me from enjoying the beauty.
