The Worst Bento Lunch Box Ever!

I forgot to buy lunch today so wound up getting a bento lunch box through the service the school uses. Big mistake. the rice tasted like cold porridge just lumped together. The fish tasted like it had preserved in salt for like a week. And the rest of it…チヨウマズイ。The following conversation took place with one of my co-workers.

Me:… (staring at this bento wondering how could anyone be expected to eat this shit)
Co-worker: What?
Me: (in japanese) This lunch box is the worst I’ve had in almost 9 years in this country! I mean, really Disgusting!
Co-worker: Americans can’t eat Japanese bento ne.
Me:…(smh)

    The bento in the photo looks normal to me. I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t taste good at all.
    As I don’t have much time to cook, I often buy bento and most of the time they taste pretty good (luckily).
